Adult Counselling in Kidderminster & Worcestershire

Adult counselling in Kidderminster or Worcester offers a safe, supportive space to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences at your own pace. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, anxious, low in mood, or simply not yourself, therapy can help you begin to make sense of things.

Based in Kidderminster, I offer individual counselling across Worcestershire, both in-person and online.

How I Work

I offer a calm, compassionate, and non-judgmental space where you can feel heard and understood. Together, we gently explore your experiences, helping you to understand patterns, process emotions, and reconnect with yourself.

I work relationally and adapt each session to your individual needs, moving at a pace that feels right for you.

I offer 15 minute consultation to briefly explain how I work and a summary of what brings you to therapy and what you would like to achieve. Then, we move to assessment, which is a deeper exploration of reasons for attending therapy and hopes of achievements. It’s not only a space for me to get a feeling if I am the right therapist for you, or if you need to be referred on, but also a space for you to get a glimpse of how I work and if you feel comfortable telling me your story. Sometimes after this stage, you may feel you would like to try elsewhere, and that’s ok, as this is your journey. It may be that you have realised that you are not ready for therapy, and this too is ok. Therapy isn’t all rainbows and butterflies; we hope to get to this point where things are calmer, and growth is happening, but to get to this may require talking about difficult subjects, and you need to feel ready to do this. If, after the assessment, we both feel we are a good match to work together, we then start the journey and, along the way, have check-ins on how we are feeling and how things are going. I offer short and long-term therapy, so the ending is again very much in your hands. We could just have 6 sessions to work on one area or weekly sessions that gradually move further apart over a longer period.
